Rachel Payne (General Manager)

Rachel Payne is the General Manager of the Eros Association, where she has advocated for sexual freedoms and a discrimination-free environment for adults-only businesses across Australia. Rachel comes from the industry, having travelled the world as burlesque performer Freckles Blue. Rachel is in the Guinness World Records as part of the longest burlesque show ever performed.

Rachel’s background has included stints in political campaigning, project management, and law reform. Rachel holds undergraduate degrees in sociology and politics as well as a Masters in Policy and Human Services. Her interests include fighting for drug law reform and sexual freedoms.

Jarryd Bartle (Policy & Campaigns Advisor)

Jarryd Bartle is Eros’ Policy and Campaigns advisor drawing on his extensive experience as a lawyer, civil liberties advocate and policy consultant. Jarryd advocates for evidence-based public policy in relation to the adult industry challenging the moral panic, over-regulation and criminalisation of adults-only products and services. Along with his work for Eros, Jarryd is a policy consultant to a variety of organisations on drug policy and criminal justice reform. Jarryd is also a regular public commentator on civil liberties matters.

Robbie Swan (Consultant)

Robbie Swan started lobbying for the adult industry in 1988 through the Adult Video Industry Association. In 1992, together with his partner, Fiona Patten, he initiated the Eros Foundation – later to be called the Eros Association. In 2009, they started the Australian Sex Party.

Robbie started his media career as a contributing editor for Australian Penthouse. In the mid 1980s he founded and edited Australia’s celebrated political humour and satire magazine, Matilda. Before joining the adult industry he spent a year producing Phillip Adams’ radio programs. He is now a consultant to Eros and a contributor to the Eros Journal.

Morgana Muses (Membership Coordinator)

Morgana Muses is a part time membership co-ordinator at Eros. Morgana is an award winning filmmaker who was inspired to create porn and art house erotica at the ripe old age of 47. Her body of work draws from her personal journey, from repressed housewife to alt-porn star. As creative director at http://permission4pleasure.com she focuses on creating content that celebrates age positivity with the hope of inspiring others to find their own pleasure.

Joanne Golias (Membership Coordinator)

Joanne Golias is the part-time Membership Coordinator with Eros, joining the team in September 2018. After working in the banking and finance sector for over 11 years, Joanne delved into a complete revolution of career direction and moved into working in the adult entertainment club scene in Melbourne’s infamous King Street. Joanne has held positions in clubs such as Penthouse, Goldfingers and Spearmint Rhino, in a variety of different roles from reception and administration through to Duty Manager of dancers and staff, and thoroughly enjoyed her time working with both management and entertainers alike.

Joanne has always found the adult industry to be intriguing and exciting, and a whole new ball game to her time in the finance sector, and looks forward to continuing to advocate for and represent members from adult industry.
